8X on the apartments
Project was designed by GBL Architects in 2021 and located in Yale town, Vancouver. it is a mixed- use Residential Development with child care.
The tower’s design include neighboring heritage apartment with the urban scale.
The building is bisected along its north to south axis into two volumes.
The base is further articulated with further volume that echoes the scale of the heritage building to the west.
Continuity is maintained across the volumes through repeating eight-story modules that reference the adjacent
structure.
Balconies offer expansive out-door spaces with their views to the park.
Continuous metal-clad band relates to the prominent heritage building cornice, with varied balcony extents that minimize overlook at tower floors and maximize
views at higher floors
ABC Cancer Center
The health care centre was designed by HKS Architects in 2021 and it is located in Mexico city,Mexico. it has a cpverage area of 65 000sqm.
The main hospital sits across the street, so the approach was to find connectivity with it, take advantage of views of the city skyline toward the south and prevent undesired views of adjacent rooftops, while at the same time providing with much needed natural light into every space available
A portion of the project site is allotted for a neighborhood park to further serve the community and integrate the building into the neighborhood fabric.
FAC’ADE GLAZING METHODOLOGY
A combination of vision glass was used to enhance and frame views, while spandrel and sand blasted glass served to block and filter natural light in others so patients would not face undesired lines of sight.
Orientkaj and Nordhavn
Metro Station was designed by Cobe Architects in 2020. it is located in Kobenhavh, denmark.
The overground Orientkaj Station celebrates the large-scale volumes and brutalist features of the docklands’s industrial past, but opens up to reveal a passenger-focused, human scale detailing on the inside.
The underground Nordhavn station borrows from the design vocabulary of the recently opened cityringen metroline -for which Arup led the architectural design- with the distinctive red cladding of transfer stations.
Anchored by bold concrete claws onto the
Copenhagen harbour, the station is designed as a
glass, concrete, and aluminum box commandeering
panoramic views over the Orientkaj dock.
The architects passenger-focused approach is highlighted by the detailing inside, from the lighting to the to the material palette.
Strip of Six apartments
The project is located in france -EZE and was designed by Cab Architects in 2006 with the area coverage of 1 105sqm.
This site constraints forced the designer to have front fac’ade facing the direction of the sun. Cladded the fac’ade by metal armour that folds and unfolds to the wishes of inhabitants, proffering an ever-changing fac’ade . the skin of metal hidden and protecting full height glazed bay windows.
The project comprises of two separate blocks, with duplex type of apartments adjacent to each other, on a slopped terrain that is supported by a vast stone pitched wall from the front view. 115 West Street Building / Alexandra fobes
the office complex was design by Paragon architects and is situated in Santon, Johannesburg, South Africa. it has a total 100 000sqm and was designed in 2012
The project accommodates 2400 sited working staff members. It also incorporates an extensive
grey water systems, passive heating and cooling systems and high performance glazing with
louvres to shade from the direct sun.
The design required a flexible building hence the large floor plates, punctuated by two atria to maximise the natural daylight into the office
spaces and the ground floor below which was designed to create a park like environment
with the introduction of 6m high Ficus Benjamina trees, sunken into the floor.” Paragon Architects.

Tsepo
